Digital Mental Health 360: Improved Patient Outcomes with Technology

Digital mental health is the newest cutting-edge field that uses software and hardware, sometimes with drugs or devices, to prevent, manage, or treat a mental health disorder. However, it can often be confusing differentiating between digital therapeutics, digital medicine, telehealth, or wellness applications, and how to best utilize these new technologies for patients. In this groundbreaking session, Drs. Rakesh Jain, Steven Chan, and Gowri Aragam will review this emerging field and provide insight on how to employ these technologies in individual treatment plans. Digital mental health offers opportunities to improve access to and quality of mental healthcare, add to efficiencies and cost savings to mental healthcare delivery systems, and improve patient outcomes.
